Stéphane Quintal, a name that still resonates in the hearts of many field hockey fans, and particularly Montreal Canadiens fans. A former iconic player of the team, he marked the club's history with his passion, dedication and exceptional talent.
Since 2015, Stéphane Quintal has been working as Director of the NHL's Player Safety Department. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the league's players.
Today, Stéphane Quintal has decided to become more involved in the development of young field hockey players by accepting the role of Honorary President of the World Scholastic Hockey Championship.

With the Tricolore, St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins, he scored 171 goals and 612 points in 16 seasons, adding 26 goals and 70 points in the playoffs.
Guy Lapointe was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1993, and will be present on Sunday, October 8, at the WSHC Grand Finals Day.
